Moral Story In English + Hindi Translation

A poor widow had only one sheep. 

एक गरीब विधवा के पास केवल एक भेड़ थी।

At the time of shearing, she decided to do the shearing by herself to save the money. 

शियरिंग के समय, उसने पैसे बचाने के लिए खुद से  शियरिंग करने  का फैसला किया।

But she sheared it  in such an inefficient manner that she peeled the flesh with the fleece. 

 लेकिन उसने उसे इतनी अकुशल  अंदाज में शियर किया कि उसने बालों के साथ साथ  मांस को भी छील  दिया।

The sheep groaned painfully, 

  भेड़ ने दर्द से कराहते  हुए कहा,

"Why do you hurt me so much, Mistress; 

"तुम मुझे इतना दुख क्यों देते हो, मालकिन;

If you want my flesh, then there is the butcher, 

अगर तुम मेरा मांस चाहते हो, तो कसाई है न ,

who will kill me in a moment; 

जो मुझे एक पल में मार देगा;

but if you want my fleece, 

 लेकिन अगर तुम मेरे बाल  और ऊन चाहते हो,

then Shearer is not the one who will shear me and won't even hurt me. "

तो  शियरर है न,  जो मुझे शियर करेगा और मुझे चोट भी नहीं पहुंचाएगा। ”

Word Meanings 

*Shearing= to cut the wool off a sheep (भेड़ की ऊन उतारना या काटना)

*Fleece= the coat of wool covering of a wool-bearing animal (such as a sheep or yak) ऊन से ढंके जानवर का कोट (जैसे भेड़ या याक)

Moral of the Story

The work suits in the hands of the one skilled to do it.

नैतिक शिक्षा
