THE ANT AND THE DOVE



Once There was an ant.

She was very thirsty and went down to a stream to drink

but the current carried her away down the stream.

There was a dove. He pulled a leaf from a bush nearby and dropped it into the water.The Ant climbed up the leaf, floated down the stream and landed safely.

 Not long after, a hunter who was out in the woods tried to catch the Dove.

The Hunter was about to catch the Dove the Ant bit him on his heel.

 So the Dove flew away in safety.

EXERCISE

Answer each question.

Translation of  "THE ANT AND THE DOVE" Story . 

Once There was an ant.

एक बार एक चींटी थी।

She was very thirsty,

उसे बहुत प्यास लगी थी,

and she went down to a stream to drink,

और वह पीने के लिए एक धारा में उतर गई,

but the current carried her away down the stream.

लेकिन बहाव उसे धारा में बहा ले गया।

There was a dove.

वहा एक कबूतर था।

He pulled a leaf from a bush nearby and dropped it into the water.

उसने पास की एक झाड़ी से एक पत्ता खींचकर पानी में गिरा दिया।

The Ant climbed up the leaf.

चींटी पत्ते पर चढ़ गई |

She floated down the stream with the leaf and landed safely.

वह पत्ती के साथ धारा में तैरती रही और सुरक्षित उतरी।

 After a few week,

कुछ हफ़्ते के बाद,

a hunter who was out in the woods tried to catch the Dove.

एक शिकारी जो जंगल में था, कबूतर को पकड़ने की कोशिश कर रहा था|

 The Hunter was about to catch the Dove,

शिकारी कबूतर को पकड़ने ही वाला था

 the Ant bit him on his heel.

चींटी ने उसकी एड़ी पर काट लिया।

 So the Dove flew away in safety.

इस प्रकार कबूतर सुरक्षित उड़ गया।
